New Home Office/Library

Adjoining an existing 1970's style brick bungalow, this new home office extension creates a juxtaposition of the aged versus the new.
Incorporating a glazed entryway, the link between the existing and the new is a crisp, transparent walkway that helps to protect the integrity of the new addition without encroaching on the classic styling of the existing house.
The library is comprised of a U-shaped space into which bookshelves and workbench have been incorporated with glazing each end.  A feature stone blade wall provides a natural anchor and the streetside pivoting glazed doors are clad in a decorative Corten screen.
