New Residence @ Montville
One of our newest concepts, this stunning residence is a homage to the great pavilion structures designed by Mies Van Der Rohe. With inspiration gleaned from the Barcelona Pavilion and the Farnsworth House, this house comprises two interlinked pavilion structures with a wall of glazing that encapsulates the vista from the mountaintop acreage site. The two spine walls of rammed earth anchors the semi-transparent boxes to the gently undulating site while the main glazed wall of the northern pavilion can be slid away to open the entire side of the home to the outdoors. The effect is of living on a verandah.
