Designed as a contemporary Queensland interpretation of a stylish Spanish villa, this residence presents itself as a compact footprint centered around a courtyard swimming pool. The design features several stacked stone walls throughout the house which unifies the structure and provides a continuous element visible from all parts of the home.
The house comprises three bedrooms and two & a half baths. The study, which opens up off the main hallway, overlooks the courtyard pool and can be enclosed using bifold shutter doors when required. The constraints of the block did not allow extensive rear terracing to the golf course frontage however through the use of bifold doors, the main kitchen, dining and living areas can be opened up to the rear aloowing the these areas to do dual purpose and gives the impression of living and dining on a large covered terrace.
This residence is designed for easy maintenance and easy living with an emphasis placed on having multi-use spaces that can be adapted to suit a variety of entertaining requirements.
